Terms of Service

Section 1 – Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any laws applicable to you.

Section 2 – What the Service Is

Whatspayin sends periodic email alerts summarizing job postings gathered from publicly available sources, filtered and ranked according to preferences you provide (such as minimum salary, job category, and location).

We are not a job board, staffing agency, or recruiter. We do not employ, represent, or act on behalf of any of the companies whose job postings appear in our emails, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies. All trademarks, company names, and job listings referenced belong to their respective owners.

We do not guarantee that any listed position is still open, accurately described, or will result in an interview, offer, or employment. Always verify details directly with the employer before making any decisions.

Section 3 – AI-Generated Content

Some content in our emails — including short summaries of job postings — is generated using AI language models. While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated summaries may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Summaries are provided for convenience only and are not a substitute for reading the original job posting, which is always linked.

Section 4 – Accuracy of Salary and Job Data

Salary figures displayed in our emails are drawn from information employers have publicly disclosed on their own job postings at the time of collection. We do not independently verify these figures, and they may change or be removed by the employer at any time without notice to us. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any salary or job information provided through the Service.

Section 5 – Free Access and Future Paid Plans

The Service is currently offered free of charge during a beta/early-access period. We may introduce paid subscription plans in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable notice before any change that affects your account, and continued use of a paid tier will be subject to additional terms presented at the time of purchase. Payments, when applicable, are processed by Stripe; we do not store your payment card details ourselves.

Section 6 – Your Account and Communications

By providing your email address, you consent to receive periodic emails from us related to the Service. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Unsubscribing stops future alert emails but does not delete your prior submission history unless you separately request deletion (see our Privacy Policy).

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for any activity associated with your submitted preferences.

Section 7 – Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

Section 8 – Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from our emails or site for resale or redistribution; (c) transmit viruses or malicious code; (d) impersonate another person or provide false information; or (e) interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service.

Section 9 – Third-Party Links

Our emails and site contain links to third-party job postings and career pages that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third-party sites. Any interaction with a third-party site, including applying for a job, is solely between you and that third party.

Section 10 – Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job or salary information will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interval 3 LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any decision made in reliance on information contained in our emails.

Section 11 – Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Interval 3 LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Section 12 – Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Section 13 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
