Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you sign up for the Service, we collect the email address, minimum salary preference, job category selections, and location preferences you submit through our signup form.

Device information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your browser type, IP address, and general usage patterns — for example, which pages you view and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this as "Device Information."

Email engagement data. We use a third-party email delivery provider (Resend) to send alert emails, which allows us to see whether a link within an email was clicked. We do not track whether an email was opened.

Payment information (future). If we introduce paid plans, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. We will not directly collect or store your full payment card details — Stripe handles that on our behalf.

We refer to all of the above collectively as "Personal Information."

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your Personal Information to:

• Send you the email alerts you signed up for, matched to your stated preferences
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service (for example, confirming your signup)
• Improve and troubleshoot the Service
• Screen for abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service
• Process payment, if and when you upgrade to a paid plan

We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers who help us operate the Service, including:

• Resend, for email delivery
• Supabase, for data storage
• Stripe, for payment processing (future paid plans only)
• Anthropic, whose AI models are used to generate short summaries of publicly available job postings included in your emails. Your personal preferences (email, salary floor, categories, locations) are not sent to Anthropic as part of this process — only the public job posting content being summarized.

We may also disclose Personal Information if required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you emails but may retain a record of your email address specifically to honor that unsubscribe request and prevent future emails, unless you request full deletion (see below).

Your Rights

You may:

• Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you
• Request deletion of your Personal Information by contacting us at the address below
• Request a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection rights, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and the right to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Cookies

We may use basic cookies or similar technologies to support Site functionality and understand aggregate usage. We do not currently use cookies for cross-site advertising or tracking.

Do Not Track

We do not currently alter our data collection practices in response to a browser's "Do Not Track" signal.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

International Users

If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
